Oscar Muñoz

Oscar Munoz always had a great fondness for music and musical instruments. In 2013, after 20 years of dedication to the family carpentry business and making minor repairs to instruments on the side, he enrolled in the guitar making courses of Stephen Hill and Pablo Requena. Having completed his training with both teachers, in 2017 he participated in the Antonio Marin Montero Guitar Construction Contest of the European Guitar Foundation, winning second prize. In 2018 he was selected to participate in the Play & Musica expo at the Granada Science Park. Occasionally he holds masterclasses and gives construction courses in his Huetor-Vega workshop.
