Manuel Bellido is a legendary guitar maker from the Granada School of Guitarmaking, and one of the leading names in Spanish guitars. He was a disciple of master Eduardo Ferrer and has also taught big names of today, such as his brother, José López Bellido, and his sons Jesus, Miguel Angel and Mauricio. His famous guitars have been played by the best hands on the biggest stages in the world. With a passion for innovation, master Bellido is especially known for his impressive flamenco guitars. His association with the maestro Antonio Marín in the 60s and 70s was especially prolific in the training of great guitar makers such as Rafael Moreno or Juan Miguel Carmona, and many others.
Today, at 83, he continues building a small number of instruments in his legendary Granada workshop.
